What is MySchool?

It is a unique system aimed at improving the quality of learning in South Africa through a network of Partners and Supporters. We approached them as a non-profit organisation and have been allowed to join the system.

How do we benefit?

The Business Partners who have joined the MySchool initiative pay a certain percentage of the MySchool Supporter's purchases at their store/restaurant/internet site to the school or charity which the Supporter has nominated.

Anybody can participate in raising funds for All our Children First by presenting their card each time they make a purchase at the Partner. We will further benefit from our Supporters if they specifically choose to shop at a MySchool Partner instead of elsewhere.

There is no cash outlay or risk involved for All our Children First or our Supporter, the proceeds will be paid directly to us, to be used where they are most necessary. The pressure on us to raise funds will be reduced through your positive and voluntary contribution, enabling us to concentrate on providing the unconditional love and attention which is priceless in our environment.

Some of these Partners include Woolworths, Waltons and Kalahari.net; there are many more involved and a comprehensive list can be found at
http://www.myschool.co.za.

There are also prizes to be won on a monthly basis from Woolworths. Every item you buy at Woolworths, irrespective of it's value, counts as one entry into their monthly draw, where one lucky MySchool Supporter wins R10,000 for their school or charity. If you are this lucky Supporter you will also receive a R1,000 Woolworths Gift Voucher.

Virtual Market Place (Pty) Ltd supplies the card technology and administers the system. They also communicate with the Supporters via e-mail and SMS messages.

Should you already have an existing MySchool card you can elect to change your nominated beneficiary without having to get a new card, alternatively you can elect that your proceeds be split between your existing and a new beneficiary. Simply e-mail enquiries@vmp.co.za or phone 0860 100 445.

How do you apply for a card?

You can phone MySchool on 0860 100 445 or send an e-mail to enquiries@vmp.co.za to register. As soon as they have all your details they will send you a card free of charge.
